I love a good-looking movie poster. Sometimes, I do take into consideration a movie’s poster before seeing it. I think a movie with a good-looking poster adds major coolness to it. Even if the movie did suck, at least for me, it has an aesthetically pleasing poster. But let’s face it though: not all movie studios release beautiful posters for their movies. That’s why it’s amazing when fans step into the picture and create stunning alternative posters to these movies. I actually already love the studio-released posters of some of these movies but it’s still nice to check out the amazing creativity of some individuals.

Aren’t they all pretty? Now if only I could have all of these printed and posted on my bedroom wall. Sigh.

For other alternative movie posters, check out the list of references below. The Polish Posters Shop also has an amazing collection of alternative movie posters for American movies.

I’m definitely loving today’s Google animation which is a tribute to American choreographer and modern dance pioneer, Martha Graham. Lately, I’ve been in love with a lot of the Google doodles/animations. A recent favorite is the Earth Day doodle/animation last April 22.

The trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 was finally released today. I thought it was epic and I had goosebumps all over while watching it. I really can’t wait to see the movie but I couldn’t help but feel sad as well at the same time knowing that the movie series will end soon. :(
